KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day-to-day processing and tracking of purchase orders for both external suppliers and internal partners.
- Checking stock levels to ensure everything from standard inventory to custom orders is replenished on time.
- Help prepare the necessary documents for incoming goods and assist with standard customs and quality records.
- Maintain and update internal system (ERP) up to date, ensuring that item prices and details are correct.
- Act as main point of contact for suppliers to confirm delivery dates and solve any basic shipping issues.
- Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to provide updates on what stock is available.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced purchasing, or supply chain role is required.
- IT Skills: Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential. If they have used SAP or a similar system before, that is a big plus, but training is provided.
- Attention to Detail: Must be very accurate when entering data and following company procedures.
- Must possess the ability to stay organised and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
- You will have a professional and clear communication style for talking to vendors and other departments.
- You will be reliable, keen to learn and happy to help the team.
Details of Package:
25,000 to 28,000 depending on experience 37 week Mon-Thurs 08.00 to 4.30 Early finish Friday / 29 days holiday (plus statutory holidays) Private Healthcare / Competitive Pension / Free parking
