We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, helping to implement care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those in your care. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Help implement and monitor care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and any changes in residents' conditions.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their comfort and safety during transport.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
- Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and documentation.
