This role is extremely hands on and would suit someone who thrives in an environment with a highly varied workload.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Generate accurate and commercially priced quotations
- Price completed work and invoice.
- Liase with customers and sales teams to understand their ongoing requirements.
- Purchase materials and resources in the most cost effective manner and monitor supplier performance.
- Coordinate and plan production schedule
- Monitor operator and machine performance.
- Identify and implement improvements in key areas.
- Implement staff training programme were requested.
- First point of contact with staff.
- Monitor stock levels and supply stock.
- Liaise with senior managers and staff with all relevant information.
- Acknowledge, investigate and respond to any customer complaints.
- Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
- Support senior managers in the administrative aspects of the business.
- Provide a safe working environment for all employees.
- Generate any reports required by senior management team.
- Achieve agreed targets set for efficiencies and profitability.
