This role is extremely hands on and would suit someone who thrives in an environment with a highly varied workload.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  • Generate accurate and commercially priced quotations
  • Price completed work and invoice.
  • Liase with customers and sales teams to understand their ongoing requirements.
  • Purchase materials and resources in the most cost effective manner and monitor supplier performance.
  • Coordinate and plan production schedule
  • Monitor operator and machine performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements in key areas.
  • Implement staff training programme were requested.
  • First point of contact with staff.
  • Monitor stock levels and supply stock.
  • Liaise with senior managers and staff with all relevant information.
  • Acknowledge, investigate and respond to any customer complaints.
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
  • Support senior managers in the administrative aspects of the business.
  • Provide a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Generate any reports required by senior management team.
  • Achieve agreed targets set for efficiencies and profitability.
