A leading specialist printing company is looking to appoint a highly experienced Production Director to set and communicate goals, create and improve structure and processes, and facilitate the day to day running in order to ensure productivity. Key Responsibilities
  • Set and communicate organisational goals and performance targets.
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve structure and processes across the production facility.
  • Facilitate day to day operations to guarantee productivity and quality standards.
  • Take direct responsibility for the workforce, driving teams in a senior managerial capacity.
  • Drive a culture of cooperation through employee involvement, development and empowerment.
  • Apply lean and Six Sigma methodologies to lead optimisation projects and manage continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage performance enhancement initiatives to achieve business objectives.
  • Strategically plan, prioritise and allocate resources while anticipating future needs.
  • Take initiative, own decisions and accept the consequences of outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Candidates MUST have recent experience in on demand printing.
  • Proven senior managerial experience driving performance in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of lean and Six Sigma processes with a track record of leading optimisation projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of earning respect and authority within the organisation.
  • A proactive, ambitious mindset with the determination to contribute to long term success.
  • Demonstrated ability to think ahead, prioritise and plan activities while considering relevant factors.
