P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently looking for an Industrial Operative on a full-time, permanent basis located in Great Yarmouth. Main Responsibilities: This role involves a variety of industrial cleaning tasks, including but not limited to the cleaning of tanks, vessels, silos, and pits for a wide-ranging client base. Operating industrial services, HGV jetting and vacuum units, as well as bulk liquid tankers. Provide exceptional service by engaging with internal and external customers in a friendly, professional manner. Assess and select the most effective jetting or cleaning methods for a variety of heavy industrial plant operations, using company-supplied technology, vehicles, and equipment. Deliver services that meet or exceed customer expectations, including the use of both established and emerging technologies. Operate safely and professionally at all times, ensuring the health and safety of yourself and others, including colleagues, contractors, visitors, and clients. Use, maintain, and care for all equipment and materials responsibly and in line with operating procedures. Safely operate company vehicles, minimising risk of injury or damage, and ensure correct weight distribution (max. 32 tonnes for Jet-Vac units, 44 tonnes for tankers). Conduct and record daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks and ensure secure storage of vehicles and equipment. Monitor personal working hours to remain compliant with EU driver regulations and the Working Time Directive. Handle and transport Dangerous Goods in accordance with ADR regulations. Be flexible to work away from home when required to meet business and client needs. Carry out additional duties as required, within the scope of the role and your capabilities. Person Specification: Occasional travel will be required to meet client service demands. Full UK driving licence (HGV C&E). IOSH Working safely. High Pressure Water Jetting certificate. Drivers CPC. Working in Confined Space. ADR License (Desired). Strong knowledge of the maintenance of high-pressure water jetting and large industrial vacuum plants Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:00-16:00 (Flexibility required to meet business needs).
