One of Yorkshire's leading SME printing companies is looking to appoint a new key member within their senior management team. Impending retirement of the owner has created the opportunity for a Managing Director to join this print pioneer with a reputation second to none.

The pivotal role of Managing Director will take responsibility for organisational performance; implementing company policy and making any changes to it in order to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Industry expertise and innovative solutions has maintained our client's position as market leaders. The objective of their new Managing Director will be to remain at the top of the game, ahead of all competition.

The company's key decision maker requires a results driven individual with a high level of commercial awareness. Candidates must have great experience in a man management role within the printing industry, and an inside out knowledge of all market trends.

• Ensure recruitment and retention of personnel; motivating, training and developing staff to ensure our client achieves its objectives
• Establish and maintain fruitful relationships with major clients and stakeholders
• Take ownership and responsibility for the efficient and effective running of each function within the organisation
• Ensure budget targets are met, revenue flows are maximised and fixed costs are minimised
• Develop and maintain an effective marketing strategy to promote company products, services and images
• Represent the company in critical negotiations to secure the most effective contract terms
• Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure all health and safety and other statutory regulations are adhered to
