Teacher of Physical Education (Girls' PE) - Rugby
Full-Time Permanent / Long-Term 36,355 - 56,356 per year
Start: ASAP / New Term


An ambitious and well-regarded secondary school in Rugby is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and committed female Teacher of Physical Education to join a successful and supportive PE department.

Due to the nature of the role - including supervision of girls' changing facilities and the delivery of girls' sport - this position is subject to a Genuine Occupational Requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students' enjoyment of sport, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles within a well-resourced and forward-thinking school.



The Role
We are looking for a teacher who can:

  • Deliver high-quality Girls' PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across a broad range of sports and activities
  • Champion and develop girls' sport and participation
  • Contribute to a vibrant extra-curricular programme, including fixtures and clubs
  • Motivate and challenge students of all abilities
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive and driven PE team
