Production Technician

Techniche Global are supporting a specialist manufacturer of laboratory equipment with the appointment of a Production Technician to join their manufacturing team in Bury St Edmunds.

• Salary in the region of £26,000 £28,000 depending on experience
• Monday Friday, 9:00am 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
• Full training provided

This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, supporting the assembly and inspection of high-tech equipment. Training will be provided on specific methods and assembly techniques, but previous production or mechanical assembly experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of equipment and components
• Wiring harness connection, crimping and soldering
• Assembly of small tubing and fittings
• In-process inspection and quality checks
• Supporting fault finding and continuous improvement activities
• Managing workload to meet production targets

About You

• Minimum 2 years experience in a production or manufacturing role
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Good organisational skills and willingness to learn
