Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job description/responsibilities.
- To work in conjunction with the Maintenance team focusing on preventative and reactive maintenance on production machines
- Site maintenance, good housekeeping ensuring a safe and tidy workshop
- Assisting with engineers as required
- Manual handling: relocating and alterations / modifications to machinery
- Follow all company procedures policies
- Follow instructions from senior members of staff
- Adhoc duties in line with role and skill set
- Ability to operate tools and machinery (training provided if necessary)
- Assisting with maintenance or improvement projects (e.g., painting, organising storage areas, assembling fixtures).
- Ability to use own initiative within H&S requirements and task allocation
