About the Role:

We are seeking a structured and detail-oriented Engineering Store & Inventory Controller to establish and manage our engineering spare parts store. This role will take ownership of stock control, system accuracy within Shire CMMS, and spare parts availability to support production uptime and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and manage the engineering spare parts store.
• Maintain accurate stock records in Shire CMMS.
• Control goods receiving and issuing processes.
• Define minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Conduct stock audits and cycle counts.
• Support procurement coordination and supplier follow-up.
• Generate inventory reports and KPI tracking.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering stores or inventory control.
• Experience with CMMS or ERP systems (Shire preferred).
• Strong IT and Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and structured approach.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical spare parts.

This is a key role within the Engineering Department, supporting reliability, compliance, and financial control through structured inventory management.
