Business Intelligence Analyst London en-GB
innocent Limited
Here at innocent, we're on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we've gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe's biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval). It's nice to be able to say things like that but we're not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it's possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we're trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that's where this job comes in. At innocent, we're big believers in the power of good data, the kind that helps people make smart decisions without needing a PhD to understand it. Our Data, Integrations and Analytics team sits at the heart of that mission, turning numbers into stories the whole business can use. From planning how much fruit we'll need next season, to understanding what our drinkers love most, trusted insight keeps everything moving in the right direction. We're now looking for a BI (Business Intelligence) Business Analyst to join this merry band of data enthusiasts. You'll help shape how we create, look after and use insight across teams like Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance. Some days you'll be untangling a tricky data question, other days you'll be building intuitive Power BI (Microsoft's data visualisation tool) dashboards that make everything click. And because we're growing our data community, you'll play a big part in helping colleagues feel confident, curious and well equipped to use insight every day. You'll be Turning business questions into clear, valuable analytics with measurable impact Supporting colleagues with data model queries and fixing issues so they stay fixed Building engaging Power BI reports and dashboards using data from multiple sources Helping grow our community of Power BI fans through fun, friendly "Power Biscuits" sessions Driving trust and adoption of insight across the business Rolling up your sleeves to improve our certified data models and reporting Documenting key processes and learnings to strengthen our knowledge library Working closely with teams across innocent to make insight genuinely useful You'll have Experience translating business questions into actionable insight Confidence working with stakeholders and explaining data in plain English Strong Power BI skills (including the DAX language) and advanced Excel know how A problem solving mindset with an eye for sustainable, long term fixes A collaborative approach and an interest in building a data confident community Ideally, experience with D365 F&O (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations), and bonus points for knowing some SQL (Structured Query Language) You'll get The chance to work alongside data engineers, analysts and senior leaders shaping how innocent uses data every day Real ownership to take questions from start to finish and turn them into insight that drives decisions A curious, friendly environment where learning is openly shared Loads of variety - from troubleshooting tricky data issues to bringing stories to life in Power BI The opportunity to set standards and influence how others across the business work with data Ongoing development of your Power BI and wider analytics skills, while helping others grow theirs too We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone's career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further. In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you'll get a solid rewards packagethat includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies. We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same - so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are. Even if you don't think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring. Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
