HGV Fitter / LGV Mechanic / Fleet Technician - 45,000- 48,000 + Overtime

We are recruiting for a leading company in the Construction and Civil Engineering sectors. They require an experienced HGV Fitter to maintain and repair a fleet of LGV and HGV vehicles to meet Operator Licence requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair HGVs and associated equipment
- Prepare vehicles for annual tests and MOTs
- Road test vehicles to certify roadworthiness
- Complete accurate documentation and defect reporting
- Carry out inspections within required timeframes
- Work efficiently and cost-effectively on repairs
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience of HGVs and associated accessories
- IRTEC certification essential
- Knowledge of Safe Loading Working Devices
- Ability to service, diagnose and repair specialist equipment
- NVQ preferred but not essential
- HGV licence preferred but not essential
Hours and Pay
- 7:30am to 5:00pm
- Minimum 45 hours per week
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required
- 45,000- 48,000 per year plus overtime
