Lead Dental Nurse / Keyworth, Nottinghamshire

MBR Dental are currently assisting a mixed dental practice in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire to recruit a Lead Dental Nurse on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Dental Nurse to take on a leadership role in a modern, supportive practice.

• Available ASAP (notice periods considered)
• Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
• Flexible working hours Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Competitive hourly rate: £13.09-£15.09 per hour depending on experience
• GDC, CPD & indemnity costs covered

• Lead and mentor a team of Nurses in a supportive environment

• Mixed practice offering General Dentistry alongside Orthodontics, Implants, IV Sedation & Minor Oral Surgery
• 5 surgery, computerised SFD practice

As Lead Dental Nurse, you will be a key member of the clinical team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and providing leadership to nursing staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Chairside assistance and patient care
• Infection control and decontamination of instruments
• Maintaining equipment and surgery procedures
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of Nurses
• Overseeing reception and staff rotas
• Ensuring CQC compliance and managing audits
• Maintaining stock and assisting Practice Manager with smooth running of the practice
• Occasional reception duties

• Minimum 2 years' dental nursing experience
• GDC registered
• Valid DBS certificate required
• Professional, organized, and confident in leading a team
