Daily Rate: £80 - £110 a day (dependent upon experience)
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support children with additional learning needs, ensuring every child can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support within the classroom
Support pupils with SEND, including speech and language, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
Assist with phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy interventions
Help promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Support children s social and emotional development
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Have experience working with primary-aged children
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience
Be proactive, flexible, and able to use initiative
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
