School Cleaning Supervisor - Exeter - Immediate Start

Hours: 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday during School Term (some cover required)

Pay Rate: 14 - 14.45 per hour based on experience

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure the school premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to meet high standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional with leadership skills who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the cleaning team
• Create and manage cleaning schedules and task allocations
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections
• Manage cleaning supplies and stock control
• Provide training and guidance to team members
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Liaise with site management regarding maintenance issues

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role (supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards

A DBS Enhanced check will be required - Acorn by Synergie will support with this.
