Overview
Our Project Management team in Hitachi Energy UK is expanding. This role in the area of Grid Automation (high & Medium voltage substations Protection and control (RTU, SCADA, DCS is ideally suited for someone with a proven track record in executing end-user facing projects in the Transmission and Distribution market with customers including TSOs, EPCs and DNOs.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing projects within the area of Substation Automation.
- Manage the assigned projects from the initial handover from Sales to the successful completion of all on-site work.
- Coordinate an international project team and oversee the efficient use of allocated resources.
- Act as the key point of contact, maintaining open and proactive communication to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Manage the customer contract and take full responsibility for all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
- Travel to clients and partners within the UK as required (circa 10% of time).
Qualifications
- Engineering background: Electrical and Control systems / Computer networks.
- Based in Scotland - willing to be in Glasgow three days a week and two days a month in Stone, Staffordshire.
- HNC/HND / Degree.
- Chartered Engineer or Professional certified Project Manager.
