Location: Central London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Catering Environment: High-profile free-issue site, retail kitchen
Volume: Up to 800 covers daily (breakfast & lunch)



About the Role

A leading contract catering site is looking for a talented Senior Chef de Partie to join a busy kitchen team. This exciting role focuses on delivering high-quality, international cuisine with a street food-inspired twist, offering fresh and vibrant dishes that reflect global flavours.

You'll be part of a large kitchen team serving up to 800 covers daily, working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role offers fantastic work-life balance, with Monday to Friday hours and no evenings. It's the perfect opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie who is passionate about international flavours and street food concepts, and who thrives in a busy kitchen environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead your section, preparing and delivering internationally inspired dishes with a street food flair

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, serving up to 800 covers daily for breakfast and lunch

  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meets the highest standards

  • Collaborate with a team of 17 chefs to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

  • Contribute fresh, creative ideas to menu development, focusing on bold global flavours and seasonal ingredients

  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen

  • Support junior team members and assist with their development

  • Handle stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation when required



What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in high-volume kitchens, with an understanding of international cuisine and street food

  • Ability to lead a section confidently and work effectively within a large team

  • Passion for food, with a focus on creativity, quality, and global flavours

  • Previous experience in retail or contract catering kitchens, particularly in high-volume settings

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and support your team

  • Culinary qualifications and up-to-date food safety certifications

  • A high-energy, proactive individual who thrives under pressure in a busy kitchen
