We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable Press Brake Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and working to precise technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and programming press brake machines to meet production requirements
• Operating press brake machinery to produce metal components to technical drawings
• Adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality
• Carrying out quality checks and inspections on finished products
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines
• Always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures and site rules

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience using a Bystronic press brake.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
