Quality Controller - Temp to Perm

Location: Colchester
Pay: 13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 14.00-24.00

Prime Appointments are currently looking for a Quality Controller to work in the Colchester area for our leading food manufacturing client.

Must be able to drive and have your own transport due to location.

This is a Temp to Perm position subject to a successful 3 month's probation period through the agency.

Duties of the Quality Controller

• Assisting on the production line
• Monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs)
• Carrying out product quality and temperature checks
• Performing shelf-life assessments
• Supporting micro sampling and factory swabbing activities
• Verifying label print and date code accuracy
• Conducting scale and equipment calibration checks
• Assisting with pre-start and production changeover checks
• Ensuring all production and quality paperwork is completed accurately
• Escalating any quality or safety concerns promptly
• Working collaboratively with Quality and Production teams

The ideal Factory Operative candidate:

• Previous experience working in food
• Will to do over time if needed
• Physically fit and healthy
• Must be able to drive and have our transport

• Pay will start on 13.00
• 50p Shift allowance after probation
• Hours will be Monday to 14.00-24.00
