I m hiring for a major UK food manufacturer with a strong portfolio across a variety of categories. Big volumes. Recognisable brands. Serious retail exposure.
This isn t a keep the spreadsheet ticking role.
You ll sit at the centre of Commercial, NPD and Supply Chain, owning short, mid and long-term forecasts in a fast-paced, short shelf-life environment.
What you ll be responsible for:
- Building and refining accurate forecasts using SAP.
- Adjusting for seasonality, promotions, customer dynamics and supply constraints
- Analysing demand patterns daily, weekly and monthly
- Leading forecast conversations within S&OP
- Modelling promo impact and NPD launches
- Tracking forecast accuracy, bias and adherence to plan
- Improving processes, data quality and system utilisation
You ll need:
- 3+ years in Demand Planning within FMCG (short shelf life is ideal)
- Strong SAP APO experience
- Advanced Excel capability (modelling, scenario analysis, data automation)
- Confidence to challenge Commercial and influence stakeholders
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-variability environment
