CNC MachinistLocation: Uxbridge
Salary: Up to £35,000 to £40,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 37.5 hour week (Fridays OFF!)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join a fast-growing team based in Uxbridge. In this role, you'll play a vital part in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components across industries such as Defence, Automotive, and Aerospace.
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist:- Set up CNC machines to ensure they meet technical specifications for a variety of complex projects.
- Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture parts with a high level of accuracy.
- Monitor machine operations during production, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of setups, production logs, tooling data, and machine performance.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to resolve any technical challenges and ensure the timely completion of production targets.
Essential Requirements of the CNC Machinist:- At least 1 year s experience in CNC machining or operating.
- Solid experience in a precision engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to work.
- Willingness to work afternoon shifts as required.
