Quality Inspector Denham 34,000 - 38,000 Permanent Days We're recruiting a Quality Inspector for a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham. You'll be carrying out precision inspection of components for aviation safety systems used in fighter jets, using a range of inspection equipment to ensure all parts meet exacting quality standards. What you'll be doing: Conducting inspection and testing of components using height gauges, bore micrometers, DTIs, and Intertest equipment Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications Generating and maintaining inspection documentation in accordance with quality assurance procedures Using SAP to record work in progress, track component batches, and log non-conforming products Ensuring all inspection equipment is checked, maintained, and within calibration Creating inspection reports and documenting results accurately Identifying non-conformances and communicating patterns or recurring issues to the Cell Leader Supporting continuous improvement initiatives including 5S activities Training and supporting new team members Adhering to all H&S regulations including risk assessments and COSHH What you need: Minimum 5 years inspection experience using height gauges, bore micrometers, DTIs, and Intertest equipment Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Understanding of H&S policies and procedures General manufacturing or engineering background Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) and SAP experience Strong numeracy and geometry skills Good standard of education (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent) Aerospace background and AS9102 FAIR experience are desirable. Laser scanning inspection experience is beneficial.
