Day-to-Day
- Using IES software to model and analyse building performance.
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Attending client meetings to discuss findings and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- Contributing to the company's sustainability initiatives and carbon reduction goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed thermal modelling using IES software to assess building performance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Collaborate with clients to explain modelling results and propose effective, sustainable solutions.
- Support the team in achieving carbon reduction targets and contribute to the company's sustainability goals.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to building performance and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in thermal modelling and building performance analysis.
- Proficiency in IES software and a strong understanding of building physics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to clients in an accessible manner.
- A proactive and mission-driven mindset, with a passion for sustainability and environmental impact reduction.
- A relevant degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field (preferred).
