Job Title: Registered Care Manager
Salary: £40,000 £45,000 per annum
Location: Cambridgeshire
Claire at Amber Mace is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent care provider in Cambridgeshire, who is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Care Manager to lead their service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and passionate manager who is already registered (or has held registration previously) and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong compliance standards.
The Role:
As Registered Care Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the service, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant care delivery in line with CQC requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management of the service, including care quality, compliance, and performance
- Acting as the Registered Manager with the CQC and maintaining regulatory standards
- Leading, motivating, and developing the staff team
- Ensuring person-centred care is delivered consistently
- Managing audits, safeguarding, quality assurance, and action plans
- Building strong relationships with service users, families, professionals, and commissioners
- Ensuring accurate documentation, care planning, and reporting
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Registered Manager role within health or social care
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes
- Confident leadership and people management skills
- Passion for high-quality, compliant care delivery
