DIGICON FINISHING OPERATOR
WEST YORKSHIRE
Hours: Double Day Shifts (Rotating)
Early: 6:00am - 1:30pm
Late: 1:30pm - 9:00pm
(Monday to Friday)
Overtime: Paid at time-and-a-half for the first 4 hours, then double time. Occasional night shifts available with a 30% shift premium.
Our client is a well-established labels manufacturer that has invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment and facilities since 2020. As part of a highly profitable international group, the business offers excellent long-term prospects, modern working conditions, and opportunities for growth.
They are looking for an experienced Digicon Finishing Operator (or someone with equivalent ABG/label finishing experience) to join their skilled production team.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for operating and maintaining finishing equipment to produce high-quality labels, including:
- Foiling
- Screen printing
- Coating
- Other embellishments and specialist finishes
- Experience on Digicon equipment is preferred, but training will be given to candidates with other finishing experience.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in label finishing - Digicon, ABG, or similar machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Willingness to work rotating double-day shifts (and occasional nights)
- Positive attitude, team player, and proactive approach
Package:
- Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
