Costs Lawyer Remote £35,000 £45,000 + Commission
A well-established and expanding legal services provider is seeking an experienced Costs Lawyer to join their growing team. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work on high-quality Claimant costs files from start to finish.
The Role This position involves handling Claimant costs work from cradle to grave, including:
- Costs budgeting
- Drafting and serving Bills
- Negotiating costs
- Drafting Points of Reply
- Supporting a caseload covering PI, clinical negligence, and some commercial work
While advocacy experience is not required, this is a great opportunity for someone confident in managing their own caseload and working independently.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 3 years experience in legal costs work
- A strong understanding of Costsmaster software
- Significant experience with Claimant cradle-to-grave costs work
- Proven experience in PI and clinical negligence; commercial experience desirable
- Ability to work fully remotely
Preferred candidates will be qualified Costs Lawyers, working toward qualification, or willing to qualify.
