SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism, Communication & SEMH) Near Attleborough, Norfolk

Full-Time Term-Time Only
Pay: £14 £15.50 per hour (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Transport: Own vehicle required (rural location)

Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant

You will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support guided by teachers and therapists
  • Assist with communication strategies and behaviour support plans
  • Take part in outdoor learning, forest school sessions and hands on activities
  • Build trusting, nurturing relationships that help pupils feel safe and understood
  • Play a key part in helping children regulate, learn and grow each day
What You ll Need
  • A calm, caring and patient approach
  • Genuine passion for working with children with Autism and SEMH needs
  • SEN experience helpful (training provided for the right candidate)
  • Your own transport due to rural access
  • Willingness to be active, creative and outdoors in all seasons
What You ll Receive
