Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-regarded and supportive residential property team based in Macclesfield.

This role is ideal for someone with at least three to five years' experience who is looking to continue developing their career in a collaborative environment while managing their own caseload with the support of a dedicated Conveyancing Assistant.

In this role, you will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters including shared ownership transactions, new builds, transfers of equity, adverse possession, transfers of part and remortgages. You will manage files independently from initial instruction through to completion while maintaining clear and proactive communication with clients, developers, solicitors and other key stakeholders to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience managing their own residential conveyancing caseload and will be confident handling matters from start to finish. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines in a busy environment. A solid understanding of residential conveyancing processes and procedures is important, and experience using case management systems, ideally P4W, would be advantageous.

In return, the role offers a generous benefits package including 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, an additional three paid office closure days between Christmas and New Year and a birthday day off. There are also hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance alongside a comprehensive wellbeing and rewards package that includes a medical cashback scheme, 24-hour GP service, private health cover, life cover at four times salary, enhanced sick pay and an Employee Assistance Programme. Enhanced maternity and paternity leave and pay are also provided, together with employer pension contributions, a £1,000 recruitment referral scheme, voucher rewards and opportunities to take part in social, charity and community initiatives supported by a dedicated CSR committee.
