Resident Fire Safety Manager - Housing Association Contract
North London Site & Office Based
380- 400 per day Umbrella
3-4 Month Initial Contract (Extension Potential)

We're partnering with a well-established housing association in North London to recruit an experienced Resident Fire Safety Manager to lead delivery of their resident-focused fire safety and PEEPs programme across higher and medium-risk residential buildings.

This is a leadership role combining complex casework with team oversight, ensuring vulnerable residents have safe, compliant evacuation plans while maintaining strong data governance and performance management.



The Role

  • Lead delivery of the Residential PEEPs programme across in-scope buildings

  • Manage and support a team of 4 completing PCFRAs and evacuation plans

  • Deliver your own caseload focused on more complex/high-rise buildings

  • Ensure all residents in scope are assessed and reviewed annually

  • Maintain accurate building and resident safety data using CRM systems

  • Review and audit PCFRAs, Emergency Evacuation Statements and Building Plans

  • Approve equipment and works supporting evacuation plans within budget controls

  • Ensure information is shared appropriately with Fire & Rescue Services

  • Monitor team performance, compile reports and improve processes

  • Provide fire safety advice across the organisation and support wider resident safety projects



What we're looking for

  • Strong experience working with residents with diverse needs

  • Proven experience delivering and auditing PCFRAs

  • Fire safety expertise across high and medium-rise residential buildings

  • ABBE Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment (or equivalent) - essential

  • Membership of IFSM or equivalent professional body is desirable

  • Experience managing teams, performance targets and workload planning

  • Budget awareness and experience approving works or equipment

  • Strong reporting, data governance and stakeholder engagement skills
