Job Title: Packing Operative
Location: Rochdale
Job Type: Temp to Perm (with potential for permanent opportunities)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.18 ph

We are currently recruiting Packing Operatives to join a busy and well-established company based in Rochdale.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals seeking consistent work within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITHIN A PRINTING ENVIRONMENT IS PREFERRED FOR THIS ROLE

Working Hours:

Initial Training Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am 3:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Shift Pattern (following training period):

Monday Thursday:

• 6:00am 2:00pm
• 2:00pm 10:00pm
• 20-minute break

Friday:

• 6:00am 11:30am
• 11:30am 5:00pm
• 5-minute paid rest break

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing products accurately and efficiently
• Quality checking items before dispatch
• Labelling and preparing goods for shipment
• Working to daily production targets
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Previous packing or warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts
