Transport Supervisor

Kenect are currently recruiting for x2 Transport Supervisors to work for our prestigious client based in the area of Measham, Swadlincote. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, with potential to becoming a permanent employee.

You will be responsible for:

• Reporting into the Transport Manager daily
• Oversee and support with co-ordinating a team of drivers (rigids/artics/class 1/class 2)
• Ensure smooth and efficient running of route planning
• Liaise with drivers for debrief and prebrief
• Planning routes to either DC's or trade centre's nationwide
• Driver compliance/tacho dipping

x1 position is 11:00 - 19:00
x1 position is 05:00 - 13:00 - please state which position you are applying for when calling

£15.92ph (circa. £33,000 per annum)

• Ability to work both collaboratively/in a team and also independently
