Sub Agent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to work on a marine civils project. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established civil engineering contractor delivering complex marine and coastal infrastructure works.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Site Agent in the day-to-day management of marine civils works
• Coordinating site activities to ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specification
• Managing subcontractors and direct labour on site
• Assisting with short-term planning, method statements, and risk assessments
• Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with HSEQ requirements
• Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity on site
• Liaising with engineers, commercial team, and project management
• Managing site records, permits, and daily reporting
• Assisting with resolving technical and construction issues as they arise

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Sub Agent or Section Engineer on civil engineering projects
• Strong background in civil engineering
• Good understanding of site management, sequencing, and temporary works
• Valid SMSTS
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
