Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative based in Newmarket. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity and for the right candidate a permanent contract may be offered (depending on workload and performance). Also, an immediate start is available.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Thursday 8am 5pm
- Friday 8am-1pm
- Overtime available in peak periods
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembling units according to technical drawings and instructions
- Using hand tools, power tools, and adhesives to complete assembly
- Handling and fitting various materials, including acrylic, wood, and metal components
- Packing and preparing finished displays for shipping
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in the assembly, handling and fitting of various materials
- Happy to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines and targets
- Confident, physically fit and comfortable with manual work
