Salary Grade 5 is £39,361- £43,104 per annum, (commensurate to experience) including London Weighting

About the Role

The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, is seeking an experienced Programmes Officer (Maternity Cover) to provide a professional, student-focused administrative service to our academic faculty and to support students throughout their academic journey - from registration through to the conclusion of Examination Board business.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of our programmes, working closely with academic colleagues and professional services teams to ensure high-quality experience for students.

As a Programmes Officer, you will be at the heart of the school's academic operations, supporting a portfolio of programmes and working closely with academic staff, the Academic Registry and other departments.

What we are looking for

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience working in a Higher Education environment, preferably within academic administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of building strong working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues, being an excellent team player and the ability to deliver a high level of customer care to all stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise effectively to meet a large and varied workload from several stakeholders. Good initiative and problem-solving skills, with a flair of creativity.
  • The ability to work with efficiency and accuracy even under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Passion for the work of the organisation and a commitment to placing students at the heart of everything you do.
