Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager for our client based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project professional to lead the end-to-end delivery of compliance-focused projects within a regulated environment, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and performance.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of compliance-related projects across gas and building safety services. Working closely with operational teams, contractors and key stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with regulatory and contractual requirements.

This is a fast-paced, varied role requiring strong governance, stakeholder engagement and performance management expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of compliance projects within a regulated environment
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate internal teams and manage external contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation actions as required
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, contractual and health & safety standards
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and operational teams
  • Attend Health & Safety meetings and ensure actions are implemented and closed out
  • Track and report on monthly KPIs and prepare Board-level reports
  • Support internal communications, newsletters and social media planning
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and new process implementation
  • Contribute to wider strategic and group-led projects as required

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project management within compliance, gas, building safety or another regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and health & safety standards
  • Excellent planning, organisational and resource management skills
  • Experience managing contractors and third-party suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Calm, professional approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused
