Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Pallet Network Distribution Driver to join our busy transport team. This is a multi-drop role delivering palletised freight to commercial and residential customers within a designated area. The successful candidate will be confident operating an electric pump truck and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised goods
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operate an electric pump truck to move pallets
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic PODs
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
- Follow all health & safety and driving regulations
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 / Class 2 / 7.5T - adjust as required licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in pallet network distribution (preferred)
- Experience using an electric pump truck
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
