Academics are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Slough to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Key Stage 2 Teacher with a middle leadership responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced KS2 teacher who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across KS2
• Lead a curriculum area, phase or responsibility in line with school priorities
• Support and develop colleagues through coaching, mentoring and collaboration
• Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and raise standards
• Contribute to strategic planning and school self-evaluation
• Promote a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS and have proven experience teaching in KS2
• Demonstrate consistently strong or outstanding classroom practice
• Have, or be ready to take on, a middle leadership role
• Show strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Share a commitment to high expectations, inclusion and pupil achievement
