We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paraplanner to join our client's team in Exeter on a permanent basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing comprehensive client reports, assisting with financial plan development, and supporting the annual planning meeting process. You will work closely with financial advisers to ensure clients' needs are accurately understood and met, contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial advice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of paraplanning duties and be prepared to contribute proactively to the planning meetings. You will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of financial planning procedures.

Financial Planning
- Assist the financial planning teams in managing client meetings, including leading the preparation for annual planning meetings, identifying key planning points to discuss with clients (such as annual allowances or income planning), assisting with the production of relevant documentation, such as valuations, reports, illustrations, letters of authority, application forms and other documents, and implementing post meeting actions, including dealing.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of various financial products, investment opportunities, retirement plans, estate planning, and risk management solutions.
- Collaborate with advisers to evaluate and recommend suitable financial strategies that align with the needs and objectives of our clients.
- Competent across PNs primary investment platforms (Transact and Parmenion) with relevant experience for other platforms (i.e. Abrdn, Wealthtime or 7IM).
- Proficient use of the PN platform comparison tool to ensure clients remain on the most suitable platform to meet their objectives.
- Proven experience as a Paraplanner within a financial advisory setting
- Diploma Level 4 qualification in financial planning or equivalent
- Experience in preparing reports for annual planning meetings
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
