Ribble Recruitment are recrutiing for an experienced senior transformation leader to direct the Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) programme across West Sussex.
This is a high-profile, system-wide leadership role responsible for delivering a safe, legal and well-planned transition to a new operating model. You will lead a complex portfolio of workstreams, ensuring strong governance, financial control, service continuity and effective stakeholder engagement throughout.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for the LGR portfolio and set the delivery roadmap
Lead the Portfolio Management Office and coordinate all workstreams
Establish robust governance, risk and assurance frameworks
Work closely with Members, Chief Executives and senior leaders
Oversee workforce transition (including TUPE), finance, digital, assets and service integration
Ensure safe and compliant go-live with minimal service disruption

You will bring:
Proven leadership of large-scale public sector transformation or reorganisation
Strong programme and portfolio management expertise
Experience working with elected Members and senior political stakeholders
Financial and commercial oversight capability
High political awareness and collaborative leadership style
