Sportswear Account Manager / Product Developer Sportswear, Athleisure & Outdoor

Location: Essex (office-based car required)
Type: Full-Time Permanent

We re recruiting for a dual-focus Sportswear Account Manager / Product Developer to support technical sportswear and athleisure programmes from concept through to delivery. This role combines garment development with commercial account management, working with leading online retailers and high-street activewear brands.

Account Manager - Sportswear / Product Developer Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop relationships with key client accounts
• Collaborate with production teams on technical sportswear and athleisure concepts
• Oversee timelines to ensure efficient product launch cycles
• Lead development from design and prototyping through to production
• Translate client briefs into clear product specifications
• Provide guidance on fabrics, construction, and market trends

Account Manager - Sportswear/ Product Developer Requirements
• Experience in product development or account management within sportswear, athleisure, or technical apparel
• Strong knowledge of technical fabrics and development processes
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Account Manager - Sportswear - Profile
• 3 5 years experience in garment production, product development, or account management (UK fashion sector)
• Comfortable liaising with overseas manufacturers and offshore production teams
• Customer-focused, adaptable to different brand requirements
• Collaborative and professional team player
