An ambitious Cambridge based construction consultancy is seeking a Director level quantity surveyor (or project manager) to free up the current partners.
The Director's role
The Partners are seeking a Director to come in and be involved in managing the day to day activities of a small QS team, manage and interact with clients, show real leadership, and also help deliver projects when required.
This opportunity would suit either an Associate Quantity Surveyor seeking a step-up or a current QS Director who is looking for a fresh challenge with a vibrant, proactive, and expanding consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day to day activities of a small QS team
- Interact with clients and manage client relationships
- Provide leadership across projects and deliver projects when required
- Manage and support project delivery, including contracts and cost management
Qualifications & Experience
- Lives within one hour of Cambridge
- Currently an Associate QS or Director level quantity surveyor (or PM)
- MRICS qualification is ideal
- Strong technical knowledge (pre and post contract)
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in PQS / consultancy background
