Quantity Surveyor - Barrow-in-Furness (Hybrid)

What will you be doing?
Managing cost and commercial activities across live construction projects
Supporting projects through tender, design, delivery and close-out
Preparing and managing tender documentation and contractor negotiations
Monitoring budgets, forecasts and cost performance
Managing change, variations and compensation events
Carrying out valuations, certifying payments and agreeing final accounts
Identifying and mitigating commercial and financial risk
Supporting wider project controls activities where required
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be supporting large-scale infrastructure works at a major UK shipyard site in Barrow-in-Furness, working as part of an established project controls and site & facilities team delivering complex, regulated projects.
What you'll need
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on construction or engineering projects
Strong NEC3 / NEC4 contract experience
Background in infrastructure, construction, nuclear or heavy engineering
Solid commercial and cost management skills
Confident working across multiple live projects
Strong stakeholder and communication skills
Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Eligibility to work in the UK and obtain relevant clearance
