Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial support to conveyancing solicitors Preparing legal documentation including contracts, transfers, and completion statements Managing client files from opening through to post-completion Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties professionally Audio typing and drafting correspondence Handling Land Registry forms and submissions Diary management, scheduling appointments, and managing deadlines Maintaining accurate filing systems and case records
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within conveyancing/property law Strong audio typing and document production skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Professional communication skills and client-focused approach Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
