We are exclusively partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed book wholesaler and online bookseller operating across the UK and US.
This is a rare opportunity to lead publisher partnerships at a business modernising how books are bought, priced, stocked, and sold.
Reporting directly to the Founder, you will own publisher relationships end-to-end and play a central role in scaling trading partnerships across major publishers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and deepen relationships with leading UK and international publishers
Negotiate commercial terms, discounts, print runs, buying volumes, and supply agreements
Advise on buying strategy, catalogue priorities, and sales opportunities
Act as the company's publishing industry expert and trusted external voice
Help shape scalable processes for publisher onboarding and partnership growth
About You
You will bring strong publisher-facing commercial experience, ideally from trade publishing, wholesale/distribution, vendor management, or strategic partnerships.
You'll have excellent negotiation skills, a strong network, and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
