Brake Press Operator
Location: Monmouth
Salary: £27,378 - £30,420 per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 16.00pm Friday - 7am - 12 Noon
Vibe Recruit are currently working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in South Wales to recruit a Brake Press Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team, producing high-quality metal panel products.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate brake press machines to form and bend metal components
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders
Carry out quality checks to ensure all parts meet required specifications
Adjust machine settings and tooling where necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Undertake basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Person Specification
Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience operating a brake press or similar machinery is desirable
Full UK Driving Licence
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
