Essential Criteria
- An Honours Degree (2:2 level or above) in Politics or a related subject like History (Politics must be a joint or major component).
- A secondary level teaching qualification in Politics/ History as recognised by the Department of Education by 31 st August 2026.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience of teaching GCSE Politics. (Student placement year is acceptable).
- A written statement of how you can support the College's integrated and inclusive ethos.
- Ability and willingness to contribute to the extra- curricular life of the school.
Desirable Criteria
- A minimum of 1 year's experience of teaching A Level Politics. (Student placement is acceptable).
- Experience of teaching History (Student placement year is acceptable).
The Board of Governors reserves the right to refine the criteria. The subject teacher will also be required to act as a form teacher.
