Location: NE27
Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour + shift enhancements
Contract: Temporary ongoing

Shifts:

• Early: 6:30am 2:30pm
• Late: 1:30pm 10:30pm

Purpose of the Role

Due to an increase in projects, we are recruiting an additional, experienced engineering stores operator with FLT licences (ideally Reach) to support operations within a well-established engineering company.

You will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse and production areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
• Ensure goods are stored correctly and securely
• Support stock control and general warehouse duties as required
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
• Follow company procedures and site regulations at all times

Essential Requirements

• FLT licence external qualification, in date (essential)
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Ability to work early and late shifts on a rotating basis
• Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness
