Junior Graphic Designer

Headley have a new vacancy with a manufacturing company near Wakefield seeking a junior graphic designer. This role would suit a recent graduate, college leaver or someone at an early stage in their developing career.

The business is well established, increasingly busy and growing and has a track record of developing junior employees through the business.

Duties to include

• Assist in the creation of visual concepts, branding, and campaign materials
• Design assets for digital, print and for physical products
• Collaborate with team members to develop creative solutions for client briefs
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas from concept to completion
• Prepare artwork for production and ensure all designs meet brand guidelines

About you

• A recent graduate with a degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects or XD a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and a flair for layout, typography, and colour
• A creative thinker with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively
• Good attitude to work, keen to learn, develop and pursue a long term career in the design field.
• A portfolio that demonstrates your design ability and creative process
