Job Description

I'm on the lookout for a talented Maintenance Engineer who thrives on problem-solving and loves the challenge of keeping production lines running smoothly. This is a hands-on, first-fix role with the opportunity to grow into a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out first-fix reactive maintenance on a variety of production and packaging machinery

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults quickly and efficiently

  • Minimising downtime and ensuring smooth daily operations

  • Supporting continuous improvement projects and proactive maintenance strategies

  • Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams

Shift pattern:

  • 4 on / 4 off (2days/2nights)

Salary:

  • up to £53,000

What you'll need:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations

  • Ideally experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments (not essential)

  • Multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical) preferred

  • PLC experience would be a bonus
